The 34-year-old presenter, who split with actor Jack Huston in July, explained that she would like to tie the knot, but only if she knew that the union would be as successful as her parents' enduring romance.
She told The Mirror: "At some stage I think Id like to tie the knot. My mum and dad have been married for over 30 years and they've had a great relationship. But that success is really hard to emulate. When you've seen something work so brilliantly, you almost don't want to settle for it not being fantastic.
"The same question could be asked of me in 10 years' time and I may go 'No, marriage is not for me'. It does constantly change all the time but, right now, I like the concept!"
Deeley also insisted that she is in not becoming broody following the arrival of her brother Max's two children.
"Being a mum is all about being in the right place at the right time but quite often families just sneak up on you when you least expect it. I'm open to everything but not worrying about anything.
"At the moment there is no way I could factor a family into my life. I'm doing a million things but being an auntie is a way of getting all the pleasure and enjoyment. I can be totally bonkers and spoil them."
