The pair, who co-host ITV's The Zone together, got engaged in the city on Christmas Eve last year. Earlier this week, they wed in the penthouse suite of the Trump Soho Hotel in the city.
In a statement, Underwood said: "Having got engaged in New York last year, we thought it would be fitting to get married in the same place.
Writing on Twitter last night, Bell commented: "Yes, the rumours are true. As of yesterday I became MRS UNDERWOOD.
"Yes we got hitched in New York, was amazing and intimate! We did it our way and had snow as well."
The pair met in 2000 when they were both CBBC presenters.
