The network has confirmed that the music legend will be in attendance at the 37th annual ceremony, hosted by Queen Latifah, at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on January 5.
Other stars expected to walk the red carpet include Zac Efron, Neil Patrick Harris, Teri Hatcher, Taylor Lautner, Katy Perry, Kristen Stewart, Conan O'Brien, Natalie Portman, Taylor Swift and the Kardashians. Vanessa Williams will also be on hand to announce the Special Olympics as the official charity of this year's event.
Performances will be provided by Selena Gomez & The Scene and Kid Rock.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse leads the nominations at the ceremony with nods in eight categories including 'Favourite Movie'. Other nominees include Iron Man 2, Inception, Glee, Lady GaGa and Justin Bieber.
The People's Choice Awards air live Wednesday, January 5 from 9pm ET/PT on CBS.
