Abbey Clancy has admitted that she feared stress caused by Peter Crouch's alleged affair could harm their unborn baby.

The couple reunited after a temporary split following revelations that Crouch had cheated on her with a prostitute while on a stag weekend last year.

"I worried about stress affecting the baby," she told Glamour. "I'm a hypochondriac anyway."

The 24-year-old told the magazine that she had coped by keeping her emotions private.

"I think my mum and dad's divorce affected me more than I let on," she said. "I don't like being weak in front of my mum or anyone for that matter. I don't like crying.

"Even through all the s**t I didn't speak to anyone. We've kept our private life private."
