Cat Deeley splits from boyfriend

Cat Deeley has been dumped by her boyfriend after five years together.

The presenter and PR executive Mark Whelan discussed their relationship last weekend before deciding to go their separate ways.

"Mark has been reassessing his life and decided his future wasn't with Cat," a friend told the Daily Star. "He still loves her but knew they wouldn't spend the rest of their lives together."

Deeley confirmed, "We've split up - but I've never talked about my private life and I don't intend to now."
