Nixon: Press 'respectful' of lesbian lover

Cynthia Nixon has thanked the press and public for respecting her privacy since it was revealed that she is dating another woman.
The Sex and the City actress split from childhood sweetheart Danny Mozes in 2003, and a tabloid newspaper soon exposed her new relationship with Christine Marinoni.
"It was a little crazy being on the front page of the paper, and I had photographers outside my house for a day or two, but, it wasn't so bad," she told WENN. "I think people have been pretty good, I have to say. They understand and they're pretty respectful."
