Cher 'bemused' by Pete Burns comparisons

Cher has reportedly admitted to being mistaken for Dead Or Alive singer and former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Pete Burns.

Now reports that the veteran performer and star of Burlesque was left "bemused" after being likened to the '80s popstar, who is now renowned for his love of plastic surgery.

According to the magazine, a shopper in Harrods confused the two singers, leading Cher to ask her assistant: "Who is this guy? Is he famous? It's happening a lot."

Cher, 64, admitted last year that she found it "rough" appearing in Burlesque with young actresses Christina Aguilera and Kristen Bell, saying: "It is a hard job. You get up at 5am and you try to look good."
