Katie Holmes: 'Suri gives me fashion tips'

Katie Holmes has said that her daughter Suri frequently offers her own unique fashion advice.

In an interview with Elle, the actress praised her 4-year-old child's ability to provide candid guidance on selecting the perfect wardrobe.

"She'll really tell me [what she thinks]," she said.

Holmes continued: "Like today I'm wearing brown suede pants, and she said, 'I don't like your pants'. But then she'll say, 'You've got to wear these shoes’. Or 'That's so pretty, Mum. Wear that'. She’s got a great eye."

The Kennedys star also noted that Suri has recently developed a keen interest in shopping.

"The other day we came out of a store, and she said, 'I want to go there', pointing at another store quite a distance away. In that store was the dress that she wanted," she said.

"I said, 'Wow, Suri. You're something. You picked that out from a football field away."

Earlier this week, Holmes revealed that she worked hard during the filming of History's original miniseries The Kennedys.
