The My Name Is Earl actress failed a sobriety test after police pulled her over on Wednesday night in Santa Monica, California, reports Entertainment Tonight.
The 33-year-old was taken to a Santa Monica jail and was released at 6.30pm ET on Thursday after posting $15,000 (£9,703) bail.
There was no traffic collision involved in the arrest, according to police.
