Amir Khan is taking legal action against a film magazine for using his picture in a campaign without permission.
Khan, who shuns film award ceremonies, is suing Filmfare for 21 million rupees, as well as asking for an apology and for the publishers never to again use his name or picture without prior consent.
Khan's lawyer Anand Desai told the BBC that Khan does not want to be seen as endorsing the magazine, and that they would wait to hear from the publishers before deciding on their next step.
