Jermaine Jackson 'stuck in Africa'

Jermaine Jackson is reportedly stuck in Africa after his passport expired.

According to TMZ, the singer is currently in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and can't renew his passport because he is in arrears with child support payments.

The website claims that Jackson is required to pay $3,000 (£1,900) a month to Alejandra - the mother of his children - but failed to do so and owed $91,921 (£59,144) as of last month.

The State Department of Child Support Services automatically informs the FBI when someone owes more than $2,500 (£1,600) a month in child support, meaning Jackson cannot renew his passport until he pays the outstanding sum.
