Kobe Bryant 'sends Lakers hats to Lohan'

Lindsay Lohan has revealed that NBA star Kobe Bryant gifted her with LA Lakers hats before a recent game.

The Mean Girls actress took to her Twitter account ahead of Sunday night's game between the Lakers and the New York Knicks at the Staples Centre to share his gesture with her followers.

"Kobe sent me #lakers hats coz I'm wearing Knicks- I'm from NY!!! Gotta stay loyal! (sic)" she said alongside a photograph of three Lakers hats.

She later added her Knicks hat to the mix, writing: "Good luck to BOTH teams! #onelove I said if lakers win, I'll come to a game w/a laker hat!"

The 24-year-old attended the game - which was won by the Lakers - with jeweller friend Pascal Mouawad. Other stars spotted courtside included Spike Lee, Adam Sandler, Denzel Washington, Matthew Morrison, Chris Pine and Dr Dre, reports the Washington Post.

Lohan left the Betty Ford Clinic recently following several weeks of treatment, and marked the New Year by tweeting an inspirational quote to her followers. "Today is the first day of the rest of my life," she wrote. "The future depends on what we do in the present" - Mahatma Gandhi...One step at a time..."
