Streep 'has no acting advice for daughter'

Mamie Gummer has revealed that her mother Meryl Streep does not offer her acting advice.

Gummer stars in the new series Off the Map from the creators of Grey's Anatomy. At the recent TCA Press tour, Gummer stated that she rarely talks about acting with her mother, reports Movieline.

"We don't really talk shop at home. [She talks about] things that any other mother would try to convey, like things about SPF," said Gummer

She continued: "I totally understand [why people would think that], but it's not like we own a pizza joint and there is a secret sauce that stays in the family."

Off the Map premieres Wednesday at 10pm on ABC.
