Queen Latifah and Stevie Wonder were among the stars that attended a private memorial service for late singer Teena Marie on Monday.

The Grammy-nominated star died last month at her California home at the age of 54.

The AP reports that a Catholic mass was held at LA's Forest Lawn Memorial Park, where Marie's daughter Alia Rose Brockert delivered a eulogy for the 'Lovegirl' musician.

Other celebrities in attendance included singer Smokey Robinson and Motown record label founder Berry Gordy Jr.

Marie was widely known for her collaborations with funk singer Rick James, but she also scored a half-dozen US top 40 solo LPs over the course of her 30-year career.
