Katona: 'Price married to feel better'

Kerry Katona has revealed that she thinks Katie Price married Alex Reid because she felt like a failure.

The singer explained that she believes Price felt awful when her previous marriage to Peter Andre ended and likened it to her own experience with estranged husband Mark Croft.

Katona told Now: "When someone leaves you, you can't help but feel like a failure. That's why I ended up marrying Mark. I think she's done the same."

The Dancing On Ice star added that she has got her life back since splitting with Croft last year.

She commented: "Mark was manipulative, a mind-controller, and I got lost in that. This is not about me reinventing myself. It's about me getting my head together and getting off drugs.

"It's about getting out of the bad place I was in with a control-freak husband."
