Edward Furlong: "I'm completely broke"

Edward Furlong has claimed that he is unable to meet his child support payments as he is "broke".

The Green Hornet actor, who was yesterday arrested for violating a restraining order, told a family court hearing that he is behind on his maintenance payments due to financial issues, TMZ reports.

According to the website, Furlong said: "I'm out of money. I'm completely broke."

Furlong argued that expenses such as lawyers, publicists and business managers were not taken into account when the maintenance agreement was awarded, however, his estranged wife Rachael Kneeland is seeking an increase in child support and spousal payments.

The judge did not rule in the case following today's hearing.
