The Celebrity Big Brother contestant was charged on December 10 last year over incidents that took place in Kitty's Nightclub in Scotland.
Basshunter, real name Jonas Altberg, is accused by the prosecution of grabbing a female's hair and pushing her head towards his groin. A separate charge claims that he made another female bend over, pulled up her dress and slapped her.
Sheriff James Williamson confirmed that the Swedish star will face trial on May 18. Altberg was released on bail following the hearing.
