The two popstars were celebrating their birthdays separately at London's Movida nightclub in the early hours of Thursday morning when police had to evacuate the area.
The precaution came after a man claiming to have an explosive device threatened to blow himself up at an Accessorize store close by on Regent Street.
Lott was marking her 20th birthday, while Jamelia was celebrating turning 30. Metro reports that The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger and rapper Chipmunk were also forced to leave the club.
A statement from the Metropolitan Police confirmed: "Police were called to a commercial premises in Regent Street shortly after 12.20am [on Thursday] following an alarm activation.
"On arrival, officers saw a man inside the building purporting to have an explosive device. Officers surrounded the building and cleared the area while attempts were made to make contact with the man.
"At 5.15am, following negotiation, a man left the building voluntarily and was detained. He is currently in custody at a central London police station."
Following the incident, Jamelia tweeted: "Thanks to (my friends) Movida and all my amazing rebels for the best Party... It was The BOMB (Pun Intended). Love you all xxx. (sic)"
