Vince Vaughn: 'I'm lucky to have met wife'

Vince Vaughn has confessed that he feels "very fortunate" to have met wife Kyla Weber.

The Dilemma actor revealed that while he was not in a hurry to marry and start a family, he changed his mind upon meeting Weber.

"I met the best girl in the world. It gives you such a great purpose in your life. If I would've met her, I would've done it a long time ago so I'm very, very happy," he explained during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"Sometimes, in our industry, well, I speak for myself, maybe that's an excuse, but you don't mature always at the same time. So if I was very fortunate that when I got ready and was open to that, then that person came into my life."

Vaughn added: "You have to be ready to receive that. No question."

The couple married earlier this month after becoming engaged in March 2009. They welcomed their first child in December.
