Vince Vaughn has revealed that the reason behind his decision to leave Los Angeles was due to the recent birth of his daughter.

Vaughn made the move from LA to Chicago last year, and admitted to being overwhelmed by the pressures put on new parents by the state's schooling system.

"They audition the kids - what do they audition?" Vaughn joked on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "You have to nap and colour, right?

"I mean, what do they ask them?" Vaughn continued. "You have to pay $15,000 just for them to take a nap."

Vaughn's latest comedy The Dilemma was released in cinemas this weekend.
