The rapper and entrepreneur, real name Sean Combs, made a surprise appearance during comedian Chris Gethard's sketch show at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre last Friday.
According to MTV, Gethard, who runs a monthly comedy night at the venue, had been asking Diddy to appear on stage with him for over a year.
Diddy took part in a series of skits mocking his extravagant lifestyle before Gethard asked him to share his top tips for performing live.
The hour-long show ended as Diddy presented joke gifts including a fake gun, Tic Tacs and a wad of money to Gethard, who is about to go on tour.
Diddy has been carving out an acting career, making appearances in Get Him To The Greek and Entourage.
