Hailee Steinfeld: 'I've been raised well'

Hailee Steinfeld has insisted that her upbringing will prevent her from falling into the bad habits that often befall teen stars.

In an interview with Hollywood Life, the 14-year-old Tarzana native explained that her parents continue to provide her with solid guidance.

"I've been raised to be myself and do what I love - and you know, I believe if I'm loving what I'm doing, I'm in the right place," she said.

Despite her newfound fame, Steinfeld admitted that she is still most happy when enjoying the activities that most typical teenagers enjoy.

"I'm always talking to my friends…I'm always with my friends, whether its going to the movies, going to the mall, or just texting - whatever it is," she remarked.

Steinfeld is currently starring in Joel and Ethan Coen's True Grit, which is now playing in US cinemas and is released on February 11 in the UK.
