Kelly Preston: 'Silent birth is gentle'

The star, who practices Scientology with husband John Travolta, welcomed the couple's third child in November.
Speaking to Natalie Morales on Today, Preston clarified her religion's promotion of silent births.
She said: "Silent birth is basically just no words, as much as possible. If you need to moan, if you cry out, you know, all of that of course, that's normal.
"[It's] just bringing them in as peaceful and gentle a way as possible."
The actress, whose eldest son Jett died in January 2009, added that she has been lucky as a parent.
"I'm blessed. My kids have always been amazing," Preston said. "Just very calm, very peaceful, happy, and I absolutely know that it's very much because of [their silent births]."
