Robbie Williams could reportedly put the Take That reunion on hold to become a father.

The singer, who is married to actress Ayda Field, apparently wants to return to LA after the band's tour to be a stay-at-home dad and is currently working on a nursery in his home.

A source told the News of the World: "Rob and Ayda always planned to start a family around a year after they married. He's loved being back with the boys but he's also keen to step back into his incognito LA life again.

"Rob wants to be a hands-on dad and has discussed this in depth with his Take That mates, particularly Gary [Barlow]. Gary is behind Rob all the way and always knew he wanted to return to LA and work on his family with Ayda.

"At the moment they're keeping schtum about whether they're actually expecting but it's telling that they are working on the nursery. We know they've been trying. The nursery is in its early stages but is filled with goodies from Hollywood boutiques."

A spokesman for Take That said: "They have new single 'Kidz' out on February 13 and they are very happy continuing to promote their current album. They are even writing new material as a five-piece."
