Hawn spoke to Us Weekly at the British 2011 Comedy Awards, revealing that she is thrilled for Hudson.
"I'm excited! It's exciting," said Hawn.
She continued: "You know, we're just all very happy... happy for them both. What's more to say?"
Hudson already has a son Ryder from her previous relationship with singer Chris Robinson. She is now pregnant with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy's child.
