Katie Price 'selling Surrey home'

Katie Price has reportedly instructed estate agents to sell her Surrey home.

The former glamour model apparently made the decision over her estranged husband Alex Reid's refusal to move out. The Mirror claims that Price is now planning to move into the £2 million West Sussex house she purchased last year.

"Alex doesn't look to be going anywhere fast," a source told the paper. "Kate has contacted Hamptons International and told them to step up all efforts to sell the marital home. Until then, she will stick it out in separate quarters to Alex. It is all very awkward.

"The secret country house she bought last year is not ready to move into yet. Her stepdad's been working hard on it, her riding partner Andrew Gould is using the stables and builders are working around the clock."

The source added: "Once she moves in, Alex cannot follow."

In a statement released through his lawyers, Reid has said that he will maintain a "dignified silence" surrounding the end of his 11-month marriage.
