Kate Hudson: 'Matt Bellamy is so sweet'

Kate Hudson has reportedly described boyfriend Matt Bellamy as "polite, kind and sweet."

According to PA, the A Little Bit Of Heaven actress spoke about the differences of dating a British man during an interview on The Graham Norton Show airing tomorrow.

"I never thought I would notice the difference but there are a lot of differences, it's just a different way, he is polite and kind and so sweet," she is quoted as saying.

"It was the phone calls that signed the deal for me; hearing his voice on the phone. It was so lovely... He has corrected some of my use of English!"

However, during the interview the 31-year-old also dismissed recent suggestions that the pair had become secretly engaged, before pointing out her mother Goldie Hawn has enjoyed a successful relationship with Kurt Russell without them being married.

The star previously told Elle magazine back in August that marriage was "definitely not something" she was actively looking for, but suggested that she would be open to tying the knot again if it felt right.

Hudson and Muse frontman Bellamy began dating last year, and are currently expecting their first child together. Hudson is already mother to 7-year-old son Ryder from her marriage to ex-husband Chris Robinson.
