Reports of Presley collapse 'are untrue'

A representative for Lisa Marie Presley has denied rumours that the singer collapsed earlier this week due to an extreme crash diet.

A tabloid report claimed that Presley fainted at her English residence and was later flown back to America to receive treatment from the Church of Scientology.

"It is absolutely and completely untrue," the representative told People. "The National Enquirer puts Lisa on the cover every few months with manipulated photos and horrendous stories of supposed 'meltdowns', and has since she can remember."

"She is happy and healthy and working hard," they added.

Presley is currently working on her third studio album following her last release Now What back in 2005.
