My Name Is Earl star Jaime Pressly has filed for divorce from her husband after only a year and a half of marriage.
According to <People, Pressly cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind her split from entertainment lawyer Simran Singh.
The Emmy Award-winning actress filed papers on January 21, claiming that the couple separated on December 27, 2010.
Earlier this month it was reported that Pressly had been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The actress is best known for her role as Joy on the NBC comedy series, as well as her recurring role on teen drama 90210 in 2010.
