Roseanne Barr sues former husband

Roseanne Barr has filed a lawsuit against her ex-husband Ben Thomas.

The actress took legal action after Thomas filed his own suit against her, claiming that she was violating a custody agreement for their 15-year-old son Buck.

Under the arrangement, Barr agreed to fly Thomas and his new wife to her home in Hawaii every month so that he could spend time with Buck, E! Online reports.

However, Thomas claims that Barr reneged on the settlement. According to Barr's lawsuit, Thomas has discussed the case in the press quoting personal emails that she sent him.

Barr says that her divorce agreement with Thomas authorised intense confidentiality and sealed all documents.

She is suing Thomas for intentional infliction of emotional distress, breach of contract and invasion of privacy.

Barr's suit adds that Thomas "ignored the confidentiality provision which he was unquestionably bound by, and revealed his self-serving attitude and wanton disregard for Plaintiff's privacy, emotional sanguinity".
