Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has talked in detail about her shocking pregnancy and revealed that she has picked baby names all ready.
The star, who had so feared that she might not conceive due to years of eating disorders that she had been considering adoption, said that she thanked God for her child.
Geri told Hello! magazine that she has already picked out names for her baby - Leonardo if it is a boy and Stella if she has a girl. However, no matter the sex Geri hopes that the child will be more temperate than she was as a teenager:
"I'm just hoping this child is more angel than devil's child," she said. "To think that it might one day be going to the equivalent of the raves I went to, or driving away my car without permission the way I took my dad's is horrifying."
Although Geri discussed in the interview the support she was receiving from ex-bandmate Victoria Beckham, she did not talk about British scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi, who is thought to be the baby's father
However, she did tell of her first reaction to the unexpected news. On discovering that she was pregnant, she said: "Absolutely my first reaction, way before fear and practicality set in, was to say 'Thank you, God'.
"My instinct was just pure gratitude. I jumped for joy. Mine may not have been perfect circumstances for a child, but whose ever are? I just felt so lucky."
