WENN quotes the Secret Diary Of A Call Girl actress as saying that she is most concerned with spending time with 2-year-old son Winston.
"I kind of think maybe we need one-on-one time at the moment," she said.
Piper further explained that she and husband Laurence Fox feel that adding more kids to their family could prove to be disruptive to Winston's upbringing.
"I can't imagine having Winston go through this stage and then [having] another one. That just seems really stressful. I think we may just go for one. An only child... that's alright," she added.
The former Doctor Who star and Fox married on New Year's Eve 2007 and welcomed their son less than a year later.
Piper recently stated that she is putting her plans for a Hollywood career on hold to spend time with her husband and child.
