TMZ reports that Gabor's husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt said that the 93-year-old was transported to UCLA Medical Centre by ambulance.
He added that there was "lots of blood coming out of her mouth" and that he is very concerned about her condition.
It has since been reported that the actress's temperature is high, due to a leg infection, and that she has blood and water in her lungs.
Gabor recently underwent a leg amputation to treat an infected blood clot.
