Weaver 'not struggling to find Oscar gown'

Jacki Weaver has reportedly received "plenty" of offers of Oscar gowns from Australian designers.

The Aussie actress, who has been nominated for 'Best Supporting Actress' for Animal Kingdom at this year's Academy Awards, was believed to be struggling to find a dress for the event as no designers had been in touch.

Her representative originally told The Daily Telegraph: "Jacki would prefer to wear something by an Australian designer, but we haven't had anyone calling yet.

"She's tried on a couple of things while she's been in the States, but she'd rather something Australian. Hopefully someone will help out."

However, Weaver's spokesperson has now revealed that they have received "plenty" of offers to dress her for the ceremony.
