Michael Lohan 'recovers from surgery'

Michael Lohan is recovering well after undergoing emergency heart surgery, it has been reported.

The father of actress Lindsay was taken to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA earlier this week. He had complained of experiencing chest pains.

A blockage found "in the posterior interventricular artery" of his heart is being treated by his doctor Farzan Rajput, who told TMZ that he is confident the 50-year-old will make a full recovery.

Michael was later photographed outside a Jack in the Box nearby the hospital, but did not visit the fast-food restaurant.
