Speaking to E! Online, the Meet The Fockers actress revealed that she sometimes encourages Paltrow to slow down the hectic pace of her career as she has a tendency to work too hard.
"She's a multitasker," Danner explained. "We had dinner last night and I said, 'Honey, please, it's great that you multitask, but it's a lot of stress to do that, and I want you to take care of yourself. You've just got to'."
However, Danner went on to insist that she is proud of Paltrow, recalling the experience of watching her perform 'Coming Home' from her film Country Strong at the CMT Awards in November.
"She was nervous when she performed at the Country Music Awards, but once she got into it, she was fine," she remembered.
"They stood up - these 2,500 professionals! She's singing in front of the industry and she got a standing ovation. I was thrilled for her. She loved it."
