John Mayer still heckled by Aniston fans

John Mayer reportedly still receives abuse in the street from women who dislike him for his treatment of ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston.

A source close to Mayer claims that on a recent night out with the singer he received numerous jibes from members of the public about his controversial break-up with the Friends actress.

"Girls came up and yelled at him, saying he was a horrible person," the source told Us Weekly. "Girls asked how he could treat women the way he did."

"People would tell him exactly what they thought of him," the source added.

According to the report, Mayer is now on the look out for a new press and management team in order to change the public's perception of him as a womaniser.

Mayer caused controversy in 2009 when he called an unofficial press conference outside his gym in order to explain the reasons he had decided to break up with Aniston.
