Antony Costa "mortified" by urination photos

Antony Costa has apologised for urinating on an ATM machine.

The Blue singer was recently caught on camera drunkenly relieving himself while standing at a cash machine in central London.

Costa has now expressed regret at his "stupid" actions and claims that he wants to put the incident behind him quickly, reports The Mirror.

He said: "I was so mortified when I saw the pictures. No-one wants to be seen like that. I would never, ever want to upset or embarrass my family or the band.

"I was on a night out, got a bit drunk and did something stupid. It's a mistake I'm not proud of and I am so, so sorry to anyone I have offended.

"I hope people can see this is very out of character for me and accept my apology. I hope people allow me to move on."

Costa may yet be charged with a public order offence after the incriminating photo was handed over to police.

Blue are due to represent the UK at this year's Eurovision with their track 'I Can'.
