Amanda Holden is reportedly awaiting test results after her baby son was stillborn at seven months last week.

Holden and her husband Chris Hughes are currently waiting to hear back from West Middlesex Hospital. The results are expected to explain why their baby did not survive.

A spokesperson for the couple told The Mirror: "Tests on the baby will hopefully shed light on what happened. Amanda's completely devastated and in shock."

Meanwhile, celebrity friends have shown their support for the Britain's Got Talent judge with messages on Twitter.

Holly Willoughby, who is expecting her second child with husband Dan Baldwin, wrote: "Thinking of you and sending you so much love."

The 39-year-old's former BGT co-judge Piers Morgan posted: "So desperately sad for my special friend."
