A preview clip from the CBS show, which airs this weekend, sees GaGa taking Cooper to the New York apartment she rented before becoming famous.
After ringing the buzzer she asks the current resident if she can say hello, although the unidentified woman says that she would rather not have any cameras in her home. The 'Bad Romance' singer instead showed Cooper a box of mementos from her childhood, including a song that she wrote at the age of 4.
Cooper previously revealed that he also spent time with GaGa in London, where the pair ended up drinking whiskey at a pub during the interview.
"To be able to spend a couple of weekends with her in various places over the course of several months, it's really cool," he added to The Insider back in November. "I'm learning stuff about her I never saw before."
The full profile of GaGa - real name Stefani Germanotta - airs this Sunday at 7pm ET/PT on CBS ahead of the Grammy Awards.
