Katie Price has said that there is no truth to the "horrid things" people say about her.

The glamour model has been the subject of a number of media reports following her split from husband Alex Reid 11 months after they wed in Las Vegas.

Price received an apology from one weekly glossy regarding false claims it had made about her attitude towards her ex-husband Peter Andre's new relationship with Elen Rivas.

In a post on Twitter, Price said: "About time mags start apologising star mag have started I hope people who said horrid things about me will realise there was no truth in it! (sic)."

When one Twitter user urged her to "get over yourself" and "grow up and consider how lucky you are", Price responded: "I'm a very lucky girl."

Price has frequently criticised the media for supposedly printing "constant lies" about her life.
