Pressly: 'I never claimed to be perfect'

Jaime Pressly has insisted that she takes full responsibility for her actions.

The former My Name Is Earl actress has recently experienced multiple issues with the law, being hit with a $637,000 (£397,000) tax lien as well as an arrest over an alleged DUI.

She also split from husband of 16 months Simran Singh last month.

"I've been in the business for 16, 17 years, and I've been very good. I've watched so many people make mistakes, and I never wanted to be that person," she told Extra.

"I have no problem saying that I'm responsible for my own actions. I'm also human and never claimed to be perfect."

Pressly also insisted that her split from Singh had nothing to do with her legal woes, adding: "People think my divorce is happening because of the situation. The truth is, these are all isolated incidences.

"I don't ever want my son to grow up and read all these false statements."
