Annie Lennox 'linked to married charity boss'

Annie Lennox has reportedly become romantically involved with a married AIDS charity boss.

The Eurythmics star allegedly fell for South African gynecologist Dr Mitch Besser after they met through his charity two years ago.

The practitioner has since left the Cape Town home he shared with his wife Debra and their two teenage sons in order to pursue a romance with Lennox, although The Sun claims that their marriage had come to an end before the lovers first met.

A source said: "It's an open secret in the family now and Debra is devastated. Annie and Besser met through their charity work more than two years ago and became very close throughout last year.

"It is now a serious relationship. Obviously Annie didn't set out to hurt Debra, but there is understandably some upset."
