LL Cool J: 'I love junk food'

LL Cool J has admitted that he constantly battles his love of junk food in order to stay fit.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the NCIS: Los Angeles star claimed that he has a long-held affinity for sweet treats.

"I love banana pudding, I love ice cream," he said. "I mean if the ice cream is soft enough, I might go through half a gallon in one basketball game."

LL Cool J, who has released nearly a dozen US top 20 singles, went on to say that he has been able to maintain his physique by eating fatty foods only in moderation.

"[It works] if you have dessert on the weekends or you have even a whole day on Saturday of eating what you want, but you pace yourself during the week and you don't overdo it with the carbs," he added.

Earlier today, it was reported that LL Cool J has been named as a Men's Fitness icon.
