Katona: 'Mark Croft should butt out'

Kerry Katona has insisted that what she chooses to do with her money has nothing to do with her ex-husband Mark Croft.

The Dancing On Ice star was criticised by Croft for choosing to rent a Surrey mansion worth £5,500 a month, a cost believed to be split between Katona and her management.

She told Now: "Mark Croft has criticised me for moving into a different house when I'm bankrupt, but I expect it from that man. My old house was only temporary, but this one is for good.

"It's secure, more private and has nowhere near as much land, and I haven't got paparazzi outside my front door constantly. I've got four children and there are seven of us living in the house.

"It is really close to the kids' school too, so it's perfect for us."

Katona and her second husband Croft are parents to Heidi, 3, and Max, 2, while she is also mum to Molly, 9, and Lily-Sue, 7, from her first marriage to Brian McFadden.

The 30-year-old also insisted that she works hard for the money that she earns.

She added: "I don't think it's anyone else's business where I live. Yes, I might be bankrupt, but people don't understand how bankruptcy works.

"I work my ass off and I still get paid a certain amount of money each month."
