Katie Price has admitted that she is "relieved" that the police have concluded their investigation into a burn that her daughter Princess Tiaamii sustained while in her care.

The Mirror reports that Surrey Police have confirmed they will take no further action after the 3-year-old was injured in a sauna during a holiday in Switzerland last month.

A spokesman for the force said: "Officers from the Public Protection Investigation Unit are satisfied the account given is consistent with the injury and have no child protection safeguarding concerns in connection with this incident."

Price reacted to the news by saying that she was pleased the incident has now been drawn to a close.

The model commented: "I am so relieved at the police findings. Even though I knew that Princess had received no injury that warranted anything more than the most basic of treatment and that this injury was sustained in a fluke accident, having the police investigate and seeing headlines about child abuse and my ex-husband being 'horrified' at what he called a bad burn have caused terrific strain."

Price's ex-husband Peter Andre is rumoured to be collecting a dossier of evidence against his former wife, in order to seek custody of their two children.
