Seacrest, who will front E! Entertainment's Live From The Red Carpet Oscars coverage, described the duo as "true movie stars".
"I think they will have viewers eating out of their hands from the moment they walk on stage," he said.
He also backed Hathaway to be one of the stand-out stars on this year's red carpet, claiming that she had become "one of the fashionistas to watch".
Live From The Red Carpet Oscars airs on Sunday, February 27 at 11pm on E!.
