Heather Mills sells New York home

Heather Mills has decided to sell her New York home because she doesn't spend enough time in the city.

The former model has been training heavily in Austria, as part of her bid to join the British Ski team for the 2014 Paralympic Games.

Mills told the New York Post: "I hadn't been to the city in nearly a year due to my downhill ski-race training, so I have no need for a New York pad."

The 1,800 square-foot apartment was bought by Mills at a cost of around $5 million (£3 million), following her divorce from Paul McCartney in 2008.
