Rhys Ifans 'sneaks out of Friel's flat'

Rhys Ifans has been pictured leaving Anna Friel's home early in the morning, prompting speculation about the nature of their relationship.

The Sun reports that the actor, who has been working with Friel on upcoming Peter Pan prequel Neverland, was seen exiting Friel's Los Angeles property in a dressing gown in order to collect something from his car.

Ifans and Friel have reportedly become close after spending time together on set since November, with neighbours of the former Brookside actress saying that the Welsh actor has spent several days and nights at her home since Friel split with long-term partner David Thewlis in September.

A source said: "She has been hiding herself away. But this week this scruffy guy has been coming and going, either looking like he'd hardly slept or with a huge grin."
