Monk not engaged to millionaire?

The ex-wife of Sophie Monk's rumoured fiancé has cast doubt on the star's engagement.

31-year-old Australian actress and radio personality Monk, who currently lives in LA, recently announced that she was going to marry her "soul partner", 50-year-old multi-millionaire Jimmy Esebag.

Esebag's ex-wife Renee has now cast doubt on the engagement, telling Woman's Day magazine that it may have come as a surprise to the businessman.

Renee, who has a 7-year-old son with Esebag, said: "I have a great relationship with my ex-husband and we are still best friends. We have a son together, and if he had known they were engaged, I'm sure he would have brought it to my attention."
